I know nothing about the cam shaft adjusters. I was speaking on the hpfp, I believe I did my 07 Gti as well, that car had cam followers that wore out, you’d have to check them a few times a year.

In my RS4 I did the drivers side in 2022, $650. If it was passenger side $1300. That’s for hpfp. Did my oil changes this year, spent zero otherwise.
