yea, vq35de arnt the best engine,. they dont hold up well to forced induction. the block is weak link. but i love the sound of the G35/350z though

all depends on the car, but 1000 is way to much, to get the transmission rebuilt in 98 maxima, and a new clutch is only going to cost 1800 i think thats what i got quoted i would do the clutch myself...

depends on your mechanical skill. If you havnet done a clutch before dont count on it taking only a couple of hours. its usually not a one person job either, you need to drop the transmission on...
