Appreciate all the feedback - received a couple really good PM's and texts so ended up booking a hotel in Chelsea. Seems like most restaurants wont let me book until 30 days out so that is on pause.
Searched but any similar posts are 10 years old, so figured I would start a new one - thinking about taking my wife to NY for 4 or 5 nights in October for her bday. Planning to stay right around...
I think it was something like the OG guy retired so the next in line took over - not sure if he kept his job but I agree with you!
Didn't the greenskeeper or maintenance guy screw up fertilizing the greens last year and killed most of them early season? I thought I remember something about that.
Might be thinking Yellowstone Club?

Second this, one of my favorite courses. I suspect it will be private relatively shortly too considering how many houses have been built.
Nice try life insurance company
Queso Fundido is so good
Stopped and grabbed some on the way home last night - Birria were fantastic, but we didn't enjoy the Carnitas
Did they send one for wine too that you could share?
Any idea what they start at? They were at a golf tournament last year as a hole sponsor, seemed like a good group
Just like dad
Mine is at 10 and is on a schedule to bump to 16 ~30 minutes before I get out there in the morning. Less complaining from the kids when I am getting them in their car seats
It sounds weird but it's the perfect combo of oil, sugar, protein for searing
How much over MSRP?
Just did one the other day with a cast iron pan inside, and the sear was unmatchable. Would recommend
We have a fire table base with no tabletop (long story) and are trying to get a tabletop built for it. Basically it's the style where you can put outdoor dining chairs around it and seat 6-8 people,...
The final season gets decent again
Lol at Frozenrice signature
Good move - we went with a heat pump in Montana (which I would think is comparable to BC) and wish we went with in-floor.
Same as Killy, up 6.8%
I'd be in for a group buy if some others want to get you to bring some in!
Second this - did a bunch of research on induction stovetops and ended up putting in a Miele 36”.
Thanks! Got lucky at WoW for a couple bottles last week. Might call and see if they have eagle rare though!
1100 sq ft for a million bucks - and sold for $530 in February of this year...
I was thinking about it today but decided to be healthy and get a soup, Italian sandwich and cookie... oh wait...
Would recommend a baseball game - the crowd is intense: crazy live music, chants, etc.
+1 for sumo
My latest go-to for something quick is the SAIT tastemarket - so far haven't been disappointed in anything. Portions are always way more than I can eat. Tomato soup today was 10/10
+1 for Volvo. We've got a V60 CC and it's awesome.
Anyone had any luck with Blantons lately?
Just had a friend of a friend do a bunch of built-ins for us and he did a great job. PM if you want his contact but would highly recommend.
When was the original Santa hat? 10+ years? My pic hasn’t changed since
Just got an Epicurean cutting board from C&B when I ordered a few other things and it is awesome
Calgary Granite is doing ours early next week, I'll keep you posted on how it goes!
Where is the "donate to Visions salesman" mega thread?
In for this! So tired of all the ads and games that I can barely navigate
Thinking I might fall for the hype and try some of these Hexclad pots and pans - anyone have any experience with them?
Good strap choice - Panerai is high on my list for next pick up (actually tried to buy in Italy but it was more expensive to buy there than here oddly enough)
Worth googling Rob Carrick ETF guide - should have some good details on the e-series
