turboing the RS is totally different then an engine swap... swapping in a WRX drive train will cost 8000 - 10000 cdn when all is said and done... turboing an RS is more difficult and will take more...

No, by 1 BAR I meant that in absolute pressure terms, not boosted to 1 BAR. Atmostpheric pressure is 1 BAR.

I'm wondering if the MAF maybe calibrated to read atmostphere and not boosted air. I...

Will a MAF read air compressed greater then 1 Bar accurately? I'm wouldn't bet on it...

I have raced my car at 3500 and at sea level.. the difference is larger then people think. its at least half a second.

where is there a 12 sec STI... no one in the states has done with a stock STI as far as i know... i've seen as low as 13.3 stock.. and thats exactly what a low 14 up here is... give or take .1-.2
