If it at least has paper thin veneer on it then scuff it with 320 and spray another clear coat on it with a rattle can. If its just melamine then your stuck.

It will be a pain in the ass but you can do it. just get as much of the existing color off as you can and use a dark stain because you wont get it all off. stripper works pretty easily its just messy.

Im not sure Restoration Hardware is even reclaimed wood. I don't know how you have stock of pieces if its actually reclaimed wood. I have heard that all their shit is made in china. Not to mention...
