Did you cross shop the Macan or SQ5? Or just buy it cuz it's a Benz?
That's interesting. The Cayman R hurt my organs over frost heaves. It was almost exhausting to be in. I rode in a Boxster GTS yesterday and is was really smooth. Excellent from a comfort...
Love the car but spent some time in a Cayman R and the suspension was just too damn stiff for our roads. Assuming this car would be similar.
Anyone with experience in the GT cars who can comment...
Reading this reminds of this:

Sickening.
Why don't you share what you got
Oh I'm so excited you can hardly imagine
The kids have no idea... They like things that you wouldn't expect. If your car is red, orange, a convertible, or loud, they will be pumped. And speed is relative. Bombing around in an S2000 or Z06...
I forgot to post about my car. 2011 Cadillac CTS-V. Only mod is a CAI. 473 rwhp on a dyno jet, 12.0@117 mph in the quarter. This spring I plan on adding a smaller blower pulley, headers, injectors,...

Nah... headers. I'm all about the sound. With the new blower and cold air the car feels plenty fast.
Just imagine the kids with cancer next year.. they'll be pooping their pants on the road...
Here's my version of Freedom's pic except with shittier graffitti and mods... which aren't even on the car. LOL.
Buys the fastest sedan at the time... too slow.
Mods it.... blower to small.
Upgrades blower.....engine to small.
Might as well buy some turbos while your at it!
That's a cool graphic.
It's amazing how fast modern cars (sedans) are getting. I was at the strip on the weekend and there was a new M5 and RS7 running 11's. Also a new E63 but I didn't catch...
Wonder how much that would cost to fix.
LOL. What a joke. I this what being a successful salesman really boils down to? I thought it was about customer service and building relationships. I guess that's just a utopian pipe dream. It...
That's why my first question to the op was if he was happy with his current set up. My similar vintage rxv amp is quite stout. I like it a lot.
When I ran my emo xpa2 off it the bass was a bit...
I've run about 10 amps on my system and believe I can tell a difference. Especially with the tube amps. Solid state are much closer, like 95% the same at lower volumes.
Op, you should take up...
I think you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Like I said earlier, I replaced my old Yamaha (similar to yours) with a higher spec receiver and the amp is a downgrade. Sure it has better...
Have you tried your current RXV1000? Is it not good enough? I have an old RXV1300 and the amp in it is way better than my new $1500 Pioneer receiver. I think the older stuff was a little more...

I've given one before and I thought it was fun to drive hard but not a great car when you drive it normally. The transmission is annoying and there's not much torque. I prefer my for CTSV for daily...
One of my friends (not a member) has an 08 Wrangler Unlimited. the issue she is having is that when she shifts from 2wd into 4wd high it sometimes pops into neutral and gets stuck there. When she...
The problem with 780 isn't the users. They are what they are. It's the moderation. The owner is being super anal and controlling, while never actually contributing anything to the forum.
Wait, your car has been over there for a year? Are you getting frustrated?
Yup. This car is my daily.
I kinda asked this on the ctsv owners forum but do any of you modified V2 guys drive in the winter? How does the car run? Any drivability issues (compared to stock)? Who did the tune?
You guys are gas snobs. Today I had to take what I could get.

I was in Glacier National Park. It's only a few hours south of CGY.
Shout out to Freedom and James at GSL for hooking me up with some rear tires that will last me through my road trip! :p
BTW, aside from needing gas so often and having a NAV system I'd describe as...
At least there are two black colors.
I snagged this shot earlier today. If anyone sees it ripping around CGY this weekend, I apologize in advance. Teehee.

I think I will be there next Friday. Then will be on my road trip afterwards for 2 weeks.
Tirerack shows them as coming in at the end of the month. I'm on my wear bars on the back and am supposed to leave on a road trip in two weeks. Damn. I think I'll have to settle for something else. ...
Any of you guys not using michelins? I need new rears and was told that Pilot Super Sports are sold out, with no confirmed production date.
Ya. Maybe I'll book it in CGY next time I go down.
So I took my car in for that squealing sound that I posted about a few weeks ago. I took the service advisor for a ride and showed him it. At the end of the day I went to pick up my car and he told...
That black diamond car looks bad ass. Btw. I went drag racing again. Had some good runs and met the guy with a V in the 11s. Was a fun night.
I think it's a pretty cool car at any price. Shit load of power, very luxurious, handling and ride are great for it's size. To top it off you can add 100hp like nothing:eek:
Keep me updated on...
If a c63 is a beyond civic, then maybe this we drive beyond accords?
