I have a 2005 300c with the factory nav. It always gives me disc read errors on the nav DVD. I've tried different discs, I've tried cleaning the unit (compressed air / cleaning disc)...the problem...

we used just under 600' of tinfoil....the attention to detail was amazing....for the keyboard we actually popped each key off an wrapped them individually.....being sure that the foil does not...

For the love of god don't go in comp-sci...this industry already has too many people like you in it, and it's getting increasingly difficult (from a hiring standpoint) to weed the good people out...

have you tried the variable bit-rate?....get really good quality like 320, but without the huge output size....it only uses the extra bits when it needs it

:werd: and in reality, if you mp3-encoded a CD using a good quality encoder @ 44.1kHz/320kbps, although technically there would be quality loss, it'd be impossible for a human to hear the difference.
