Oh shit, I remember rep power from the FitFreak forum

So the more reps power you get, the more you can influence somebody else. We started a rep thread, and a few of us got MILLIONS OF REP POINTS (baby finger to edge of mouth) and affectionately became known as the "Rep Ballers Club". Then when somebody pissed me off, I could negatively rep them, and it would give them like 10 negative bars instantly. Long story short, it kind of got way out of control, and the ended up taking it away from us after a few months, haha.

I move we immediately start a rep thread, and make a super rep ballers club

We need to tie it into a Like/Dislike system. Right now you have to click the sheriff badge to give rep.

When in a thread, there is a section at the bottom that contains 'similar threads' but that seems kind of pointless when it contains threads that are over 10 years old. Possibly there should be some sort of time limit when presenting a list of similar threads.

edit - just noticed my rep number is going down, this is so like Reddit and I haven't been on the forum most of the day.

Not much like Reddit. Go to your usercp (Settings on the top right of the screen) and you can see who left you rep, and if they left a reason.

Rep score is different from rep power. Your reputation is the green bar below your username and usertitle. System is new on Beyond, so everyone just has one green bar. But I think it can go up to 16 bars. Can also be red for negative repuation.
Rep power is how many points you give (or take) when you leave rep. Judging by the fluctuations of rep power (You and me have 9, others have more or less) I'm guessing that the age of your account and number of posts are enabled as a contributing factors to calculating your rep power.

the only thing that i don't really like is that in the "similar threads" section it doesn't show a date posted; you click on something similar and it's from 10 years ago lol, and unfortunately not relevant to the thread

This is something that is on the to-do list to improve.

Are you able to remove the link to the forum next to the green arrow for last post like on the old forums? I find my fat fingers still hit that cell instead of the button. Or just remove that whole column?
