Shadow Tint quoted me almost $6K for the wrap That is the last call I will make to that shop haha. My neighbor also had a bad experience with them which didn't help.
I think the Urus is in that range due to the many angles.

    Two.
Oh ok. If you did a full paint prep, 2 coats with 24hr curing in-between should last closer to a year. If you didn't do full paint prep, 6 months if probably a good result. Applying it again is way less work than prep anyway.

Prep? My cars are fully wrapped.

Iron X then Clay bar is all the prep I did. Then spray, wipe off. 24 hours later spray and wipe off. Did the wheels too.

I could probably go a year, but will do both cars again in the next couple of week to refresh before winter.

Ok that makes sense then, it apparently doesn't bond as well to film. Sounds like you got a pretty good result still. I just did mine so time will tell.

Brought the truck home from Nano Defense today. I had phone quotes from three shops, they were one of the cheapest, and I liked the way the dude answered my questions. I'm not a PPF expert, as this is my second purchase of this type of product and the last one was 8 years ago, but, I am so far satisfied with the look of the install.
Got full front, including fogs headlamps, grille, a pillars and above windshield, plus a stop below that body line on the side to protect the rockers.

Anyone who wants to check thier work can come check out my truck. I think it looks good and I checked it reasonably close.

I am taking wife's mini there on Monday. He gave me 15% off beyond discount. All my other vehicles were handled by Shadow Tint in the past.

Hey guys, wow.. My apologies, I see some has been trying to get a hold of me and I haven't been very responsive.

Yes, Nano Defense is still in business and I thank everyone that has brought their vehicles to us. Even though I have to say as much as I tried to make sure everything is done 100% but with staffing that becomes a bit challenging. But we will always take care of any issues.

Now besides from Nano Defense, I'm also running Revivify Canada and I have a soon to be 1 year old daughter. Which means I barely have time to sleep nowadays.

Anyways, yes I offer discount for beyond members. And the main reason is really because from 2016 till present, everyone has been kind and supportive to Rainer. So even if I'm not making enough, as long as I don't lose money I'm happy.

The best way to reach me is really email, either [email protected] or [email protected].

Call Nano Defense you may not reach me sometimes due to my stupid 20 zoom meetings a day.

Thanks again and stay safe everyone!
    Rainer

Bumping this up - Nano, Shadow, and Tint Tech still the go-to's?

I always went to Icon, but no response from them on my inquiry. Dealer typically sells their paint protection package - I assume ceramic coating is the same? Looking at ceramic/revivify, light tint in the front, and 3m/xpel.

NanoDefense is legit. I was satisfied. Some people like precision auto films, guy seemed nice on the phone.

Rainer's great. I'd like to try Revivify the next time I bring my car in to him.
