Bear: 0 Truck... uhh... solid 0.5

Honestly, it held up great. Came around a bend in the fog/drizzle in buttfuck nowhere northern Ontario and bam, black bear. If it wasn’t for the “thud” I wouldn’t have even known I hit anything. Lost active cruise and a turn signal, but still made it home. Didn’t leak any liquids, great choice on the metal bumpers for the NA market Ford

10/10 if I had to pick a larger animal to hit I would go with black bear again, was so paranoid of moose the whole time. Hate going around superior at night. But there is another one for the lease column... bears happen

This is one of my favourites here, I really like this. Do people often ask you what it is? What's the craziest guess you've gotten so far?

Got a hold of a used 4 post, horray for more garage space!
I've been wanting to do something like this, what's an average price for one of these lifts and how annoying is it to access?

They're between 3-4k depending which brand you go with. Its pretty easy to use, lining up a car takes some practice but it isnt bad. Mine came with a caster set too so it was easy to move around the garage to reposition.

Does that mean you have a new bear coat for winter 2020?

    Haha thanks!

I get asked pretty much everytime I take it out, what it is. Mostly get asked what kind of lotus or porsche it is. The midship badges do not help lol.

People don't believe me when I say toyota, "that is not an mr2".

Also another one from this weekend. Cleaning the garage out.

Last pic. I was at the park with the kids and I saw this 11 year old boy on his bike standing around the wagon and I wasn’t sure why. My wife pulled up in the Jeep and he approached her, very excited about the Jeep with the hellcat engine in it and he went on to tell her that he was waiting for the owner of the wagon to ask about it. I think his head exploded when she told him it was her husbands. He knew the Jeep had a 700hp Hellcat engine, he knew that the wagon had a 550hp supercharged V8, he explained to me how a supercharger works and he knew that Brembo brakes were the best.

I don’t know who was more excited, him when I popped the hoods or me that an 11 year old had such interest in cars. I was very surprised that he even knew what my cars were considering they’re really not that fancy. I thought this was pretty cool and he reminded me of myself when I was a kid.

He made no comments on the interiors.

Too much uncertainty on the long term effects. Can’t be too safe.

My parents neighbours have two little kids around ten years old and they are walking encyclopaedias on cars. Anytime my dad has cars out or we have the trailer there or they see me start my V they are outside observing and asking questions. It’s pretty cool to see the youth take a strong interest and have so much knowledge at such a young age.

This would have been me at that age for sure. Rifling off stats that made me look completely obsessed, to the point where i'd be telling owners details about their own cars that they didn't know themselves.

If not for COVID, you (90Shelby) would have made that kid's year for offering a quick ride along around the block. Responsibly of course.
