Bottas nailed that final lap. So weird he gets to race the sprint qualifying from pole and then drops to the back of the grid for the real race.

Do you mean after your flying lap? 100% legal. Bottas even towed Max last year (or the year before) after he crossed the line. Did you also notice how Hamilton went out in the middle of the pack and didn't get a tow from Bottas?

I don't care for Perez, but man I can't wait to see him stop getting fucked by his own team. A team that big should have 2 high quality championship drivers. Not a future champ and a blocker for him.

What the fuck such a gong show. Max better get a fucking grid penalty or something for taking out his main competitor after he realizes he’s fucked due to a 11 second pit stop. But knowing this shit I bet nothing comes out of it as Horner and Marko will whine until kingdom come and FIA says no penalty. Absolute fucking garbage. But happy for Riciardo, Norris and McLaren. Been a while since we saw a podium like that.

And what is fucking up with the Merc pit stop team. They seem to be regularly fucking up with sub par pit stops all season and Toto doesn’t seem to be doing anything? 4 fucking seconds are you kidding me? They essentially fucked Lewis up and put him in the position of being able to get taken out by Max when it could have been an easy couple of second gap not only to Max but also Riciardo with brand new fucking tires to the boot.

Body language and the tone in which Horner to spoke to Sky was interesting. Looks like RBR knows it will be hard to defend.
In a way the grid penalty may be a gift to RBR. They can also take PU and it will damage limitation.

What I never understood was Lewis was on Hard tire which means he was going to do a longer first stint. Why did Merc bringing him for tire change soon after the leaders Pitted?
I thought it will be at least Plus 7 laps from the time the leaders pitted.
