Default Trudeau v. Farmers 2022 FFS (Forced Fertilizer Scenario)

So the liberals have come up with another genius plan to save the world.

    https://financialpost.com/commoditie...hree%20decades.

Canada wants to cut fertilizer emissions, but farmers say it could result in less food
Tricky McDick has a pretty good take on it IMO

    Thoughts?

Dumb. Liberals seem to love these highly targeted measures that don't directly impact their core voters.

Why not shut down auto manufacturers? Or dairy, or lobster fishing?

It's neat that our federal government works so hard to make energy and food more expensive. They are doing great at that!

Well, we do have higher sodium intake than average, so we are well seasoned.

Let's talk about the hydro dams in Quebec which flood out areas and create methane from the plant life that is now in the man made bodies of water.

Mandatory retirement at 65, mandatory euthanasia/Soylent green at 70.

Think of the health care savings, and added food stocks comrade!

Even with the differences we have as westerners I would fully support splitting the country somewhere between Manitoba and Saskatchewan to the west. I would even take Northern Ontario.

We have been on this path ever since they banned Weed and Feed for lawns.

Its a tough call but I do have a strong stance on water. Never quite understood why people in Calgary let their lawns go brown. There is always plenty of water, and its fractionally expensive to process it to drinking standards. If the water is not used, then it all just flows to Hudsons Bay and becomes saltwater again. The single best thing that we can do, is put the water into the landmass, in the ground as much as possible, before it hits the ocean.

Its not like the Rio Grande, where there is so little water, that not a single drop ever makes it back to the ocean. We got the water, so might as well use it.

We’re using food to make fuel cleaner, that’s dumb

I’d love to know the carbon footprint of a litre of ethanol from seed to combustion vs a litre of gas or diesel

It's essentially open season on any industry west of Ontario and there's literally nothing we can do about it. Bad times and it's only going to get worse.

    I wish I didn't believe that.
