Default Wash Memberships / Seasons Passes - micro-thread

We used to have a thread for this, I think.
Anyway, noticed that Great White car wash offers monthly memberships. $25/mo for 1 wash per day for 1 license plate at 1 of the 2 Calgary locations.

Not as great as the "wash card" that people used to talk about which was transferrable between different cars as long as you swapped the card back and forth.

Wish that great white deal worked at both locations, because I work near one, and live kinda near the other so I don't know which I'd choose. Also would prefer to use it on the whole fleet not just one license plate.

Anyway, old thread was old. This thread is new. Anyone using a wash membership?

Doctor Detail in Southport has a $2,500 annual package they claim is ~40% savings.
I am not tempted by it.

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Are the Great White packages for the automatic wash or the wand wash? They are building one in Mahogany so I may look in to it.

Have 2 memberships at mint smart wash. it's about $80 per month for unlimited washes for 2 vehicles. Pretty good quality wash, but it is touch and I am noticing some scratches on my black truck. Auto tireshine applicator is pretty dope. Lot's of vacuums and towels, and they have compressed air at each bay. RFID tags and you get to skip the line if you have a membership

The Southport building on MacLeod Trail at Southland. A few of the buildings within the complex hold the corporate office for Alberta's largest employer.
    It's in Calgary.

Oh, I've even been in that Southport place! neat, didn't realize it was called that. Or didn't remember. I assume that employer you are referring to is full of a bunch of union scumbags who just suck at the public teat and are a general drain on societiy?
Looks like Mint is pretty nearby, so you can skip bubbles for $2400/yr and buy monthly for $40 or whatever.

The trick with any membership is it needs to be somewhere you will go past often. When it's on your way, you'll make good use of it. When it's 10 minutes out of your way, you won't.

$25/mo seems like an awesome deal I would def sign up at that rate, especially if I could take truck in 1 day and SUV in the next.

    $25/mo is an excellent deal.

If anyone has any recommendations in the Aspen area, I'd @89coupe would be interested

Petro Canada automatic wash card is 70 / month and it’s once per day no restrictions on the amount of cars

I use petro points to pay for part of the card so I never pay full price… it is a decent deal.

There are no wand washes in Aspen or anywhere on the west side unfortunately.

I’m well aware. I’d be more than happy with a decent monthly deal on a drive through touchless, but there aren’t even many of those.

How is Top Gear's touchless? Usually use the wand wash but figured if it's any good, would consider that option.

Are there any subscriptions for touchless washes?
I don't want to subject my 'daily driver' to the abuse of rotary sandpaper brushes.

Petro-Canada would be a good option if you live in the far north east of Calgary. For some reason they only have two touchless in Calgary…one in falcon ridge and the other in Monterey park.

one license plate? Just use an old plate and swap it on every time you want to wash whichever car.

We've covered this in the Costco gas line thread AND the indian youtube thread.
