I’m pretty sure we are still going to France this summer.
Apparently they are opening up in July with no quarantine for international travellers.
Just a matter of whether or not Canada allows flights there and back.
Yes, I have delayed trips due to concerns with the virus.
No, I am proceeding as planned with all travel.
Yes, but I will take precautions and still go.
The Corona threat is all a bunch of hogwash.

Meant the other dudes talking about Hawaii, or other international destinations specifically where you'd have to quarantine 14 days upon return. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Although being in an aircraft with 50+ strangers is different than being in your truck with your family.

BC can screw off. I'm taking my money to the Paris of the Prairies.
I mentioned Hawaii. I don’t see the practical difference. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I’m also going to NS. Different trips.

Difference to me is the quarantine. Maybe others plan to disregard it, or don't mind it, I dunno.

Yeah, this partially restricted lifestyle is bad enough. True quarantine would be many times worse.

Any of you planning on taking advantage of the promotions some countries are doing? Some are offering free flights/hotels, and offering to pay your medical expenses if you catch COVID there haha.
We're not going anywhere if we have to quarantine for 14 days when we get back. Probably going to be Canadian travel only at least until the fall or whenever things open up to a more normal degree.
Seems like a good year to finally do Eastern Canada or more of BC, which we always talk about but never do because it's cheaper to fly halfway across the world than to Halifax most of the time.
Yeh, no big deal. Who knows if it will even be enforced come August. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Prince Edward Island is forcing 14+ day quarantine upon Canadian citizens who own property there. Oh, and that's IF they even grant you permission to go there after thoroughly reviewing your comprehensive application package and self isolation plan. An application that openly treats Maritimers preferentially, because leprechaun reasons. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Canada is no longer a country. PEI was able to extend their "state of EMERGENCY" when they literally have zero CoVid cases. They've had zero new cases in the past six weeks and their peak number was 27 with 100% recovery (zero fatalities).
Who the fuck lets them maintain a STATE OF EMERGENCY when they have zero virus????!!!!!¿!¡? They literally just turned a guy away who is literally moving there from another province and threatened to arrest him if he didn't leave.
I am a Canadian citizen. I own property in Canada. A Canadian province decides without any merit that I cannot freely travel to my property.
I'll join the class action whenever someone starts it and with the money I win, I'll buy as much of the rest of the island I can afford. I'm thinking I should be able to get about two Members of Parliament's worth.
Same attitude as fucking BC, and it's gross both places.

No. BC is just being shitty and their brainwashed people are being shitty. The border to PEI is literally manned by police. You literally have to apply and be granted permission to go there, even if you own a house there. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
That's different and it's unacceptable. I will sue.

Here's some other PEI lessons to help you understand why they are better than you and far more important. Do you know how many MP's there are in PEI? There are 4. That means Alberta should have 111 MP's if it was somewhat in the realm of proportional representation by population. Do you know how many MP's Alberta actually has? 34...
PEI is more important to "Canada". We are not.
