Why do you have to wait a year or two if you can buy one a base model right now for $46k?
I think he might be talking about inflated pricing on the first round of these. $46k is just the MSRP and the dealers can sell for whatever. The first year and a half of the new raptor they were going for way above msrp and people were lining up lol
I doubt these will be going for above msrp though but you're also probably not going to get any discount on them either. Seen one on a trailer and they look very good

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Saw one on McKnight tonight, nope, do not like. Dodge dealer on south side of McKnight east of Edmonton Trail has a few.
    Will fuck off, again.

I can’t wait to see what kind of canopy’s you can get with these things. Would look awesome.

I think a gladiator rubicon could be in my future in a few years.

Some kind of Halo model with a Hemi would be epic.

The canopy options definitely is going to be what pushes a lot of people to purchase one IMO.
So much potential there to fit someone's lifestyle.

Totally. I think the Gladiator really hits my “needs” for a truck right on the head.

Just curious what the Gladiator offers that the Canyonero and Ranger don't?

The ability to go topless, access to a crazy amount of aftermarket products, sway bar disconnect, going to 35's with no modifications, and of course a manual transmission. I think it also has best in class payload.
Yea I mostly just think the alternatives are boring in every way.

The only thing that sucks in the engine. I think the diesel V6 will be better when it comes out, but still wish that had at least 300 HP.

The turbodiesel with a good tune will do the trick though.

And then you're paying $70k for a jeep.

    No thanks.

    .
Isn't it going to look pretty much like a regular jeep with a canopy except a longer wheel base?

Appearance wise after staring at one for a while, the only thing that bugs me is having a low quality orange peel paint finish on a vehicle with large flat surfaces with slight stamping defects. It just makes it look rushed and half done. The paint on both my 06' Dodges is super crisp compared to what I saw on the jeeps.
