Just got a pair of Giro Empires from Merlin yesterday.
Might grab a pair of those Castelli Free Aeros and refund the ones from MEC as soon as they get in.

The free aeros were cheaper from MEC, no?

I may go look at the jerseys that are 75% off at CalgaryCycle tomorrow, but we'll see. Suspect they have a crap supply for mediums

Swing by the pure cycle @ canyon meadows. The giordiano jerseys are all 75% off (and not just a door crasher time). Pretty slick jersey for $35..might be tempted to get more

Hmmm. I bought 2 for $140 online from mec as well
Wonder if it’ll get charged with duties?
If it’s close enough I’d prefer mec just to support local economy. But $30 x 2 is quite a bit

I've ordered from Merlin before and haven't gotten charged duties.

First ride this morning with a padded bib. Man even though ride was short it was heaven on my ass and balls. When I left it felt like 1 deg and the sorpasso kept me warm. Merlin has it for $116. Prob grab another pair along with the bib shorts.

The difference is almost as good when you start using chamois cream.

Anybody hear about Mec’s f&f sale tmw from 4-9pm. My cooworker mentioned it. Be nice to get 10% retroactive to the 3 bibs I bought.

Found out a bit more info. It’s staff appreciation night. So meant for family and friends of staff. Saw the ad and some pretty good deals like 30% off all clothing. But based on the fine print it looks like the discounts will be limited to F&F. Assuming they get some flyer proving they are

Not sure where you saw the ad. I have an invite, and it's only 20% off clothing and 10% off hard goods. I think you'd be hooped trying to get it retroactive (says it on the flyer it's not retroactive). Your best bet will be ordering through Merlin and then returning the MEC stuff
