I guess everyone is different but I used my phone a lot today , phone calls, and internet and it still has 20% . Maybe one day it falls off a cliff but it’s battery life and performance has been pretty consistent the last two yearsThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Show your battery usage graph, that sounds terrible actually.
Saw a tiktok on the weekend about if you have early model Airpod Pros that have the crackle and static that they will be replaced. Brought them into the apple store and now I have a fresh new set. Been using them for 8+ hours a day for 2.5 years. Fresh battery last so long compared to well used ones.
By static do you mean when you first put them in there’s a burst of static?
My right was unusable with both in ear. If you touched it it would pop and sound like tv from the 80s on static channel. Could only use one at a time. Which is what i do 90% of the time anyways. I thought they would only replace the right but they did both after going to the back and running a test on them. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Crackling Noise Repair Program
Apple launched a repair program for AirPods Pro to fix a problem that causes some AirPods Pro models to exhibit sound issues such as crackling or static or faulty Active Noise Cancellation. Customers who purchased AirPods Pro at launch in 2019 are covered until October 2022 should this issue arise, and those who bought in 2020 before the repaired version in October 2020 came out can get repairs until 2023.
Affected models have static or crackling sounds that increase in loud environments such as with movement or when talking on the phone, or Active Noise Cancellation that fails to work properly with a loss of bass, increased background sound, or a street or airplane noise.
The faulty AirPods Pro models were manufactured before October 2020, and those who are experiencing issues can take the AirPods Pro to Apple for service at no charge. AirPods Pro will be examined prior to service to verify that they're eligible for the program.
Cool, thanks, will definitely try to replace mine then. The ANR on them never works anymore either.
I’ve had mine replaced twice. This time around, so far so good.
Joined the <80% battery club on my 11.
Is going to a new 13 or 13 Pro worth it or should I just have the battery replaced?
See Crank. See Crank Walk. Walk Crank Walk.
Always get a pro for the big battery, but I’d just replace your battery instead of dropping a mortgage payment on a new phone.
Pro if you want optical zoom. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The screen is MUCH brighter on a 13 series if that matters to you.
13 has 120hz too.
got my iphone13 and can definitely notice apps opening faster, even browsing it's like a half a second difference.
What’s the easiest way to get a new phone with Apple care? My iPhone 13 pro has been absolute garbage lately and don’t want to get jerked around with repairs..
Apple care?
Drop it? Smash it? Get a new phone?
I thought it was as simple as that? Let the expert @rage2 chime in.
Mine fell out of board shorts when I was sitting. Phone was fine but the back glass had a small impact point and cracked glass. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I waited until the last month before apple care ran out and used it then. Zero fuss.
It’s a great policy
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

Pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Give it to my wife and tell her it’s important, she’ll break it in a matter of minutes.
so 200$ for 2 years coverage and get a free upgrade near the end?
might have to finally sign-up for AppleCare and accidentally drop my phone while cycling
