Hopefully the plebiscite follows this poll.

ly. And Nenshi's leading the charge with his usual "this is a good deal for Calgary" charade.

Incorrect actually, if you've been following the news lately hes been saying the opposite.

Mary Moron and her committee doesn't even know who's covering what and what the rules are. Your only job is to know all this. Bunch of morons at the helm.

This has mega shit storm written all over it.
But let's fly in Eddie the Eagle to mask the facts and speak of the Olympic spirit?! Go home Eddie you're not needed.

The yes side is out of logic and financial facts to support their position. The next week and a half is going to be them shovelling our tax dollars out the door making every emotional appeal possible, churning out more lies and paying athletes to appear on TV to try and get heir way.

BidCo knows the budget they’ve presented is bullshit, but they don’t care. The yes supporters are either ignorant or just don’t care about the money side of it and think a two week party is worth having at any cost.

Noticed how they make sure to state it’s a “non-binding plebiscite “ on the voting website. Anyone else think that even if it’s a landslide NO vote, they’ll still push it through?

They won’t be able to. If the no side bins by a single vote, the provincial and federal funding disappears. Even Mary Moran isn’t a skilled enough liar to get council to think they could fund the entire games themselves. I do think that there should be a full audit of every single penny that BidCo has spent, with the amount of effort they have spent to deceive people, it wouldn’t shock me to find out Moran and friends have taken payouts from groups who want the yes vote

The question should be would you rather have west village or the Olympics.

The flames have more than enough money to make it happen. They’re just being greedy cunts and want the city to pay for it

Quote him, he says that nowhere on his twitter, the closest he says is that he's pro great deal, he does not say it is a good deal in fact hes been publicly. MSM?, no my "facts" are from the Herald, CBC, Global, National Post, which have all quoted Nenshi to say that what Calgary was being offered was not.

“I’m an Olympic fan. But through this whole thing I’ve been less pro-Olympics than I’ve been pro-Calgary and pro-what’s-right-for-Calgary and pro-a-great-deal-for-Calgary and now that we got one, it’s time to vote, yes,” said Mayor Naheed Nenshi.

Last week, the bid appeared on the brink of death as the city, the province of Alberta and the federal government wrangled over cost sharing. Nenshi called the week the "grossest" of his political career but said it led to a great deal.

"What we have is undeniably an outstanding bid and an outstanding deal for Calgary and we've got to tell our friends and our neighbours."
It’s everywhere. Tell your friends. Tell your neighbors.

When you hear that the g7 meetings in Quebec cost $600 million it doesn't really seem like the Fed's are throwing in that much.

Because of anticipated low voter turnout, each person who does cast a ballot is having the impact of 3x. You'll never has this much power in your hands.
