Georgia gap down to 15k votes with 2% remaining. I imagine whichever way it goes there will be a recount. PA down to 110k gap and 8% left to count.

Nevada went up 1% counted, the gap went from 8k to 12k. So slow, seems odd it takes so long to even move. At least PA and GA are trickling along.

Nevada elections have scheduled releases for numbers to AP, they say they're not releasing on a regular basis to allow them to focus on counting.

Whats the rush? In the USA the president doesn't take over till late January. In Canada it hasn't been an issue.

It's not about rushing things, it's about getting this election counting nonsense done and over with. The longer the counting drags on the more people will freak out and start riots over ballots. Get the votes in more efficiently and declare the winner already.

Americans don't directly elect a president. Theyre actually voting for an elector of their area. The elector then goes on to vote for a president.

The elector can vote for anyone who was in the race. A blue who votes red, or vice versa is called a faithless elector. It's perfectly legal in most states to do that. Some of them even vote for a 3rd party.
