I want the same thing but I feel like they pride themselves too much on making the best FWD cars to do that. A "grand sport" or some visually subdued Type R version with AWD would be incredible.

I'd trade in my TL the next day if they made an AWD grand sport. I love my TL but it's about 100hp too little.

If they could make this car with SH-AWD it would probably put a dent in STI sales providing it was priced in the ballpark. Issue is that they don't seem to have the manufacturing capacity as they can't even keep up with the current low volume demand.

Saw a Black Type R broke down on Sarcee Trail yesterday around 5 .. No plate ... look like on test drive (just blocks off Honda West) ... wonder what happened ... doesn't look like accident .. *_*

I don't know how many test drives I have been on where the fuel light is on and salesman just wants to take it anyways

How do you know it was broke down?

If it was Honda West, they probably told the customer to do something on the test drive that caused a problem - last time I test drove a vehicle from them they told me to "gun it" while I was still in their parking lot

It was in middle of Sarcee, just north of Richmond road, very close to the Honda Dealer, rush hour around 5, Hood was opened, probably not run out of gas.. nor flat tire ..

Anyway, it is not that bad looking, looks quite nice in Black!!

Yeah I was going to say, Type R's available for test drive? Nice.
I hope it's not too hard to get a test drive. Would love to compare with the RS for everyday driving.

I hope it's not like the STi when it came out. Calgary Subaru wasn't allowing test drives because and I quote "the car has a turbo charger".

I couldn't get an Si to test drive when I was looking to pick up my 8th gen, they never had any spares on the lots. I can't believe they would have type-r's available, but that would be nice for sure, sign me up, I'll even chip in for gas haha!

The only purpose of that test drive would be to abuse it as much as possible, and these are seen as somewhat of a collectors item, even if they aren't really. Maybe that's why? Not sure.

Honda West has this Black one listed on Kijiji as a demo. So it is probably this car.. And it is listed as used for 50k. So sounds like an easy way for the dealer to add a markup by selling it as used.

You should see the prices that dealership tries to get out of people for normal cars Finding suckers is their specialty.

I think just about all of the Honda dealers in Calgary and Edmonton are shit. Okotoks sounds like it is the only dealer worth contacting.
