Hi Brian Spilner, I like how clean your garage is. Do you have an in-floor drainage system? I am getting my epoxy'ed this summer but I don't have drains so if it's going to still remain equally as dirty in the winters regardless of the epoxy then I might not even bother.
Hay Shakalakak, thank you. I Never drive in it while wet lol. The builder did not put a clear coat over top of it so you can feel the flakes which makes the dirt stick right to it. Up close you can def see the wear on it.. I'd be looking into Swisstrax in the future.

Oh yes we also have one drain in the center. Again, never used.

How is grip with Swisstrax? Like actually car to ground grip?

My M2 slides all over the place with my smooth garage floor.

Any issues with point compression with them if you Jack your car up for tire changes etc?

I need to look into this Swisstrax thing then. I hate how dirty the garage floor gets in the winter with snow/ice melting.

I mean I imagine getting the rocks out from inside them would be a royal pain in the ass come spring.

Ok just googled some images of swisstrax and man that shit is terrible? How the hell would that ever stay clean with all the grooves and ridges in it? And is it stuck to the floor or just slides around? Seems like a band-aid fix to the issue of keeping your garage clean I feel like. Maybe I need to see one in action or some shit.

Watch Youtube videos from Obsessed Garage or RAD Garage. They do a good job explaining how it works.

I use a car mat that's absorbent. I think Armour All "makes" it.

I think the black roof looks much better. Very nice toys, Lotus and CBR, hard to beat that combo for bang/$ IMO.

So I watched a few videos on this and man the upkeep seems hectic. I acknowledge I am probably lazier than your average guy and have very limited functional (work with your hands) skills, but fuck that RAD Garage guy literally has the garage floor sealed, then swisstrax on that which he washes by moving the entire big pieces out of the garage and then cleans the floor and also the Swisstrax themselves. I like their look but I don't see me ever going through that much effort to wash the fuckin place lol.

I always envisioned epoxy being super easy to just rinse off the top with a pressure washer and be done with it once the season changes from winter to summer. With this I'd be washing not only the floor but also the Swisstrax itself. The one big benefit I do see though is that the garage likely does not look THAT dirty as all the dirt and grime is underneath the tiles.

You need to avoid having a serious amount of the melted slush reach the garage door gasket during certain temp swings because it can freeze your door shut and then you are fuck.

Swiss Trax or any of the equivalent are for garages that never seen any wet or dirt.

My garage had some and I ripped it out and threw it away and the mess to clean up after was gross.
