People's dogs are on my front lawn all the time. I didn't know that it was a no no. There's an amazing sense of entitlement with people in general I think.

Yeah, you just got some shitty dog owners then. They should be curbing their dog when it's someone private lawn. I also get some surprises now and then in our cul de sac when our neighbor lets their dog loose and it shits, pees, and digs in our front yard.

I love dogs, and have always been a dog person and have had several in my life even had some breeders in the family. I don’t think I will ever have one again after the last one broke me though.

That being said, dog owners in general are a special kind of snowflakes. Expect their animals to be welcome anywhere, expect people to be ok with their dogs running up to them even jumping on them, that everyone should tolerate their barking and general BS (or dog shit).

Ask the average dog owner if they think it’s ok for their dog to piss on and ruin your lawn and I think that will answer all you need to know about what dog ownership warps people into.

It's not the worm filled dog feces squishing between your fingers that's the main problem (although that's obviously disgusting).

It's the fact that people voluntarily abrogate their position as apex predator. If I was a less couth man, I'd call it a version of cucking.

To be fair, my dog's poo is pretty firm its no different than picking up stones off the ground, except they're warm and not quite as heavy
