Are summer camps and daycares going to have 15 person capacity restrictions? Was I misreading that?

Yes. Which means big camps such as the U of C ones are probably a no go.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Even a small summer camp has 50~ish kids. The university has nearly 1000/day.
There is not going to be anything close to enough childcare for all parents to go back to offices.

As if the teachers unions will let that one fly. The summer vacation is barely a thing, right up until you try and take it away lol. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Good deal @ $10 if anyone still needs a USB C Hub
If that thing truly does 100W power delivery that's an amazing deal. I mean, it's a good deal even if it doesn't. I ordered one.

^ Thanks for sharing.
Before anyone jumps on it doesn’t look like it can pass through 4K@60 which is a deal killer for me.
Unless it has DP pass through?

PSA, there are good 3 ply disposable masks with metal strip at Global Drugs on 16th Ave NW. 50 for $55, 100 for $100. They seem to have a mountain full of them this morning.
A bit pricier than before pandemic. But better than that rip off Canadian Tire tried to pull with inferior plastic strip ones for 20 for $30.
With opening May 14th, I believe a lot of small businesses are looking for PPEs for staff.

Basha Foods on Barlow also has 3 ply surgical masks with the metal wire. They were $59.99 for 50. I think they had KN95 and N95 masks too but much more expensive.
They also have nitrile gloves, lots of stock last time i was there on saturday.
I'm curious how they can enforce people to go into the office if they are not comfortable.
My job has slowed down to a screeching halt and the only thing I can't do from home that I can do from the office is photocopy and fax, which I have yet to find a need for. If they tell me it's time to go back into the office but I'm not comfortable or equipped to do so (Son's dayhome is closed) do I have a leg to stand on? As I have been reading it's a grey area, I haven't found anything concrete
Can they make you go back when childcare is not open? Guess it'll be take your kid to work day every day! Fun!This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

My work has said they are in no hurry to send us back but when they do it'll still be optional for the initial time. Those with higher risk scenarios (kids / elderly / living in larger households / etc) don't have to go back if they want to stay WFHThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member.
