I am getting a kick out of the 50k trucks fake news. It would be brilliant if it was intentional but from what I've seen it was just over enthusiastic people repeating it enough until the media started to say it. It's damn near mathematically impossible haha. But now they keep repeating it uncritically. I'm hearing it from UK news sources that truckers in canada are breaking guinness world records with 50k truck convoys. An absolutely bullshit number and everyone is hyping it willingly.

You guys see how fake news works? They do this all the fucking time. Makes it more sensational and makes eyeballs glued.

INCLUDING WITH COVID NUMBERS. Funny how that works. Take a pause and reflect. Again, the data is out there. And again, they've now told us that the data has been massively overcounting all along by including incidental infections. Take covid seriously, but don't be retarded about it. I can only see 3 outcomes:

1. Repeat of 2019 with a bunch of honking trucks.
2. Violence started by some part of convoy and cops start cracking heads.
3. Violence started by the cops/undercover and cops start cracking heads.


In all 3 scenario, the Conservative party will be weakened and splinter and give Liberal even more bold to do BS policies.

Seems perfectly reasonable to ask a person who isn't willing to stand for a document protecting Canadians rights to step out of their position in favor of someone who will.

I personally don't think much will come of this, but I am fascinated to watch how it plays out.
