Default Review: Flowbee - The prescision home haircutting system

Got this thing from @speedog , and was super stoked. Aside from the obvious waynes world joke, this thing was advertised quite a bit when I was a kid.

This device attaches to your vacuum so that cut hairs are cleaned up instantly. The suction also helps pull your hair evenly towards the blades. It features several lengths of guards, including straight as well as left and right taper, with several stacking spacers to achieve that desired length.

I needed a trim, and let my wife loose with this thing. Here's my opinion.
    1) it's not good for truly short mens hair. which is my style.
    2) it doesn't do trimming around the edges, you need a standard trimmer for that.
    3) it's pretty loud
    4) I'm not using it again.

Because my normal cut is a #2 or #3 guard on the trimmer, this thing didn't have enough length to work with. If you run a style with more length over your entire head, it could be for you. Probably excellent for lesbian-style short ladies haircuts.

If anyone else thinks they could make use of this. I'll "sell" it for a donation to the charity of your choice. I remember @legendboy said he was interested. Works and appears to be complete. Even had warranty registration card in the box. Box does show some signs of wear.

EDIT: I don't know what's up with my pics. I'll fix them when I get my other computer running later.

I thought it would be appropriate. Still a sucker for a punishment buying one of these, so I fully endorse this.

no before and after pics. wife was shy, and honestly, it didn't make much of a difference, except around my ears, which was shorter, aside from the stragglers it couldn't clean up.
And I just went for a professional haircut now, so no pics are possible.

whomever gets this next could always post before and after pics. or a video of it in use. would be youtube gold I'm sure . . . .

Does that make the twig and berries easier or harder to weedwhack?

We need a better review - before and after pictures are a must! Wife's turn next? It's only fair, she did yours.

This is probably the lamest way to spark a gonorrhea outbreak.

Isn't there a modern-day version of the Flowbee from ConAir?
May need to compare the 2.
