I can't do the larger piece in one shot. My max dimensions are 230 x 150 x 150mm.
So I made an STL of a rectangular prism, LOL, is that all that's required? Seems like people usually make the underside partially hollow or something to save material. I haven't figured out how to do that in tinkercad. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Don't need to make the underside hollow. The infill is mostly hollow anyway. Problem is the larger piece unless we can divide the larger piece into two. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
A²+B² = C² - 275 is close
Trying to figure out how to do jigsaw puzzles on tinkercad now to help them join better. Otherwise it's two pieces that could just move apart. I did the tutorial a long time ago.
Edit...think I got it.

Some guy on reddit printed each of the F1 tracks to hang on his wall. Turned out really cool.
Just you know...if anyone's looking for ideas.

Any places in Calgary that sell 3D printers? I am looking to buy my first one.
Also any recommendations for online sources to learn about the different printers and materials?
Spool3d would be the best bet. Not sure if they are open though. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I had to turn ExtraSlow's prints down extra...slow. Even his designs can't handle an average speed print.

Lots of places to learn but you are probably going to start with an FDM printer with PLA material. There are lots on amazon to choose from. Creality makes some basic ones that a lot of people seem to like. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Spool3d is open think it's preorder and curbside pickups.
Richard Cleveland who you may meet at spool3d - does a podcast/YouTube channel called the first layer you may want to binge
Don't suppose anyone knows of a supplier who has black flexible SLA/DLP resin in stock? Preferably within Canada... Want to see what these 1/25th scale boggers look like in resin
Must say I love the photon I'd have the pins in the shackles installed but I lack a drillbit in the 1/32" range to chase the holes in the shackles...
Warn 8274 and zeon done, figured a road armor ish bumper was needed. Still playing with that hood fitment. Pretty damn close now - may do a resin test next.
Looks fantastic. How's the brain cell count?

So far so good. The ABS like resins I'm using sure don't smell good. Pretty effin nasty sh*t. Didn't plan this through enough - post processing definitely can't be done in a tent, so the smell spreads. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I couldn't find conclusive evidence as to whether PETG is safe for indoors.
PETG is inert. Most water bottles and pop bottles are of a PETG or PETE variety. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
