Can the android stereos display a live wallpaper as you drive? Say an atoto a6, having it display your normal icons, but have the live background active while driving around? On a phone it tends to be the lock screen, so curious about the stereos

By stereos do you mean the car infotainment systems? I can change my background but I can't use live wallpapers in the car with Android Auto. I am always in an app anyway (either maps, music, or podcasts) the whole time I am driving so I would never see the wallpaper even if I could enable it.

I've since found a video with it working, however it's in french. But I do see it's possible.

That's a head unit running custom Android OS. The interface almost feels like a typical cheap tablet.
