So what do you reckon should be done with them?

Locked up for life at $110k+/year?
Gas chamber technology was perfected almost 100 years ago. Just sayin.

The mental health argument from an economic standpoint is a bit of a funny one. "We shouldn't lock these dredges of society up for 110k/yr. We should "Treat" them for 300k/yr and let them stay out ruining cities and violating the rest of the contributing citizens rights." Good plan................

At this point the term "Mental Health" has just become the latest virtue signaling pedantic buzz word. There's literally no specific pathway for treatment or cure, and it is such a broad term that they use to encompass everything from anxiety to crack addiction. Nothing but a fools errand to try and tackle mental health.

And how ironic is it that the one true mental health epidemic that has become a social contagion and we could actually make some headway in preventing(transgenderism). We aren't even allowed to refer to as a mental health issue.

Wait. Am I sensing people are stupid enough to vote UCP again?

Upper class line hath been drawn in Alberta, and it's $180k combined.
Interesting chart and how we compare.

All we should be caring about is buying power, though. It's like there's an international conspiracy to keep that a secret. If I could move to Sweden and make half the money but that money would buy me triple the stuff, then I could make an informed decision.

True. Buying power in Alberta and rest of Canada is being deminished. Even a trip to the US makes you quickly realize, when you make note of exchange rates that your Travelodge costs today were a Holiday Inn a decade ago.

Trudeau can simply give the people more money. This totally works and has no long term ramifications.

It would be great if they could figure out a way to include the business owners and the rich in these charts, so you could see where you actually line up, instead of just seeing where you line up against filed income tax returns.

Wisdom does tend to come with age. I'm sure your emotional state is very useful in these discussions as well though.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is rolling back on a promise to introduce legislation this fall that would have outlawed restrictions on people not vaccinated against COVID-19.

Must be, because it takes a heck of a lot more than $200k a year to make the 1% in Canada.

Last I checked, it was closer to $500k

The film industry mandates itself, and you must be vaccinated to work here.
