My sink detached from my granite counter (it's pretty old, pre-renovation kitchen).

I know these things are just glued/siliconed to the underside of the counter. Who does this type of work? Cabinet guys? Plumbers?

We used Canyon for most things and they did all the installs on the sinks including fastening them in.

But for something like this I would highly recommend hitting up the home depot on 130th ave and grab yourself a tube of silicone and do it. Pretty small job that will save you a large chunk

Silicone, 2x4 and a strap.

You'll need the 2x4 and strap to keep pressure on the sink from below unless you have anchors underneath.

I'd be calling a granite company. The guys who installed my countertops did my sink, and they were experienced at it. But like others said, a couple of scrap chunks of wood and a good tube of dow silicone and you're on your way.

Might want to grab some of these for added insurance next time. Works great, super easy to install, stays out of the way for storage. Strapping works too but why not ball out on the sink too?
