The provincial NDP will look for any excuse “to get off oil”. Jyoti provides one. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

And yet total production increased after the oil price crashed in january of 2016..
but you know, blame the NDP not oil price (or trimming of fat..)

Luckily those rig workers got jobs installing light bulbs. All hail the NDP.
Ha. So to confirm, you'd like them to have kept jobs that weren't efficient. Solid conservative mindsetThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
All I see in that graphic is a decline each year from 2012 to 2015 prior to any political change. Then the first rebound where the peak increased year over year 2 years into the new government. So if anything that suggests the opposite where NDP was good for rig counts…?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Ah yes, the ol' "the federal government used your tax dollars to pay for a pipeline that private business would have" trick. At double or more the original cost to taxpayers. For a pipeline that isn't completed and still possibly may never be.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Works every time to fool idiot liberals.
How'd that go for KXL exactly? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Blaming NDP on oil crash is like blaming UCP causing COVID.
Remember that NDP got trains to move the product and UCP cancels them? <Pepperidge farm meme>
The only reason Trans Mountain is even built is because Harper baked it into FIPA with the Chinese and Trudeau can never say no to CCP.
Why do I care? Your the one suggesting our taxpayer dollars were well spent anywhere. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The UPC did cause covid … to be a run away freight train of shit… there response to covid has been terrible. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If kenney is still the leader I hate vote NDP… UPC , CPC, PC needs to get rid of that sacks of shit out of the party
What is the most AlbertaNDP~esque provincial govt in the country? And how much less "runaway freight train" are they compared to Alberta? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Is it Left Wing or Socialist governments that plowed through CoVid with no issues?
Hint - everything to do with limiting CoVid damage is tied to vaccination rate. Everything.
So if you think Rachel would've convinced more of Alberta's redneck, cousin-fuckers to get a vaccine that der gUbBeRmInt told them to get, then CoVid might kill me, afterall.
On account a I might die laughing. At you.
Looking back now, what would have been the ideal response or what could he have done differently? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Not "Open for summer"? With little to no restrictions even though all their projections said it was a terrible idea. There was/is a fine line between Covid containment and economic collapse. Kenney choose to jump off the boat instead of trying to steer it.
For better or worse, Notley would have mandated the vaccine for as many people as possible.

I guess I am just selfish. I loved the Open for Summer.

I don't think she would or could. Much like JK is stuck catering to many of his idiot voters who are "the earth is 5,000 years old and we must Christ in the path of Christ", Rachel is stuck attempting to appease throngs of hippies who would be going on group hunger strikes if she mandated vaccines. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. There is no leader. Who looks good. In CoVid.
Everyone was open for summer. Alberta just boasted about it. That was the difference. Looking west at BC’s “better” response, they lifted almost all restrictions, including masking indoors, July 1st. Just like us.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Don’t get fooled by social media and news that Alberta did a worse job.

Yet our numbers were the worst in the country by a fair margin, and not even per capita, lol. Considering we have 1/3 of Ontarios population, it's a little shocking. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Since someone brought up the rail contract, does anyone know how the events since the cancellation affected the cost of that contract? My understanding is we are still pipeline limited until TMX comes online even with the line 3 upgrade recently finished. With oil currently at 80usd+ per barrel would that not mean the rail contract would’ve made us some good money to get extra oil to the market right now?
It doesn’t really matter in the end, I’m just curious if the penalties to rip up the deal out weighted the benefits had we just kept it and let it run it’s course. Especially so with the energy crunch starting now.
