Default High/Low Level Adapter - How to Add a Sub to an OEM Head Unit???

School me on line level outputs and how to add a sub to an OEM factory deck please.

My understanding is I would need something like a high/low adapter with trigger - the trigger as the remote for the amp, so something like this:

    https://www.amazon.ca/Rockford-Fosga.../dp/B009VTDVMU

So I would wire up say the rear R/L speakers from the OEM deck to that adapter and then the remote trigger to the amp remote correct? Then I can then connect RCA's to the amp to utilize a subwoofer correct?

Question is this: so what if I want to use the rear speakers too rather than have them converted to RCA's for an amp and sub? So how would I then wire this up so I have the fronts, rears + sub?

    Thanks in advance guys.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

I got an REQ I could sell ya, you just splice into rear speaker wires, steal a signal and run the rest of the stuff to amp/subs.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

So with any of the those line adapters you just splice into it is all? That's how it's done? Thanks btw.

Why not just get a amp with high level inputs and avoid all of that?
