    Good call.

Now they can spend all that extra money on more bike lanes, art light hoops and other useless bullshit.
Don’t forget Quebec. The most useless shit of all.

Elites coercing the gov't to enrich them is a function of leftist ideology.

I watched a Chargers game in Sofi Stadium a month ago and it is amazing what can be built for $10B dollars, the fact this is getting blown up with the total spend well under a billion is saddening.

It's highly possible that both side feel like they have a bad deal. Hell they could both be correct.
Isn't that the true definition of a "fair deal", when both parties feel like the other side did better than them.

Canadians vastly overestimate the size of our economies at every level.

    It's not saddening. It's pathetic.

    Sofi is privately funded.

Also the most expensive stadium in the world, and three times the price of the second most expensive stadium. So comparing anything to it is ridiculous.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

It also includes a lot more than just the stadium, but a bunch of development around it. The theatre was already built, but the NFL is basically setting up their second headquarters there and their whole media operation. It also has two NFL teams, which adds a bit of punch to the funding.

Being able to become LA's premier concert venue is also a big driver. Soon-to-be Crypto.com Arena is so saturated with events, being able to get the biggest acts for multiple nights in a much bigger venue will be where their money is made.

There is no way a $10B stadium ever pays out, no matter how many Ariana grande and Justin Bieber concerts you have.

    “Money is made” that’s hilarious.

It's not a $10B stadium. And the cost includes more than just the stadium.
