Like I said before, unless there's pictures of him eating live human babies, they're still going to win.

So you are assuming a BIG change from current situation? Because right now it's Justin winning by a mile.
You have a lot of faith in the polls surprisingly. Personally i don't trust them after how wrong they were for both the AB NDP thing in 2014 and 2016 US election.

Well, the headlines about the polls were wrong. The analysis of the polls that projected based on seats were reasonably accurate.

You were surprised Trump won? The polls had him handily winning a couple of days before the election.

Also, has there been any talk of George Canyon being thrust into candidacy in central nova? They elected a candidate, and then he quickly resigned (rumors of theft from a liquor store and spousal abuse, from decades ago?) Anyways George canyon (fake name - country singer that's been living in high river) was announced as his replacement, completely out of left field. It pissed a lot of the locals off, who were left asking why they even had the vote, and the 2nd and 3rd place individuals weren't even notified Canyon was stepping in.

Central nova is home of Peter Mackay, who happens to be buddy buddy with Canyon, so there's some suspicion it's a game play for him for the future. Central nova can also be remembered for electing Brian Mulroney (friends with peter mackays father, Elmer) And also where Elizabeth May ran in 2008, notably without liberal opposition since it's normally a conservative area.

Justine still has it. I can’t imagine him being dethroned. He walks on water sadly.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

I was under the impression was for his campaign to essentially keep his mouth shut at all times (eg. no optional debates, and do French language ones).

Just focus on a couple of talking points otherwise and photo ops and selfies.

That was maybe the worst run campaign in the history of Canadian politics.
Harper had an image problem (wooden, cold) that he could have easily fixed for his last run - but he kept his real self away from the public.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nati...ntial_election

Donald Trump won the general election of Tuesday, November 8, 2016, despite losing the popular vote while winning the electoral college.[1][2] Media analysts differ as to why the polling industry was unable to correctly forecast the result.[1][2] Two daily tracking polls, the UPI/CVoter poll and the University of Southern California/Los Angeles Times poll were the only polls that often predicted a Trump popular vote victory or showed a nearly tied election.

There are still 4 weeks till the election. I think this will eventually blow over in Eastern Canada and Trudeau comes away with a slim majority. Alberta hates Trudeau and wasn’t going to vote for him anyway, so it doesn’t really matter what Albertans think of this situation. I’m white though, so maybe I am completely underestimating this whole thing.

That's a lot of butthurt Wikipedia incel editors.

Why do you think those results matter? Popular vote does not predict US elections. You have to win the EC. The US system is the opposite of Westminster - they wanted to avoid the tyranny of the majority. Does this have to be explained to you?

Serious question, look among your friends and their social media and see if you can find one Liberal voter who is going to change their mind because of this. I'm sure the answer is nearly 0 Nationwide.

I agree. Though I read somewhere that something like 50% of Canadian voters consider themselves to be undecided, that sounds like a crazy high number.

In the US it’s more like 5 (remember Romney’s 47% comment)

A couple of corrections. Vegas never gives "20:1" odds. And it's illegal to bet on elections in Nevada. Likely, that was some dark offshore betting he did.

Trump was given a roughly 30% chance of winning by fivethirtyeight. That's decent odds.

That honestly wouldn't surprise me. I'm left leaning, but hate Justin (always have, he's done nothing to make me like him or hate him more), but also hate the CPC. Who am I to vote for? The Greens? NDP? Like, fuck me.
