Fuel.
Sorry, read that sticker too fast. Didn't see the part where premium is staying ethanol-free.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I saw in first page identifying Canadian Tire as Ethanol free.
Not true anymore.

Since it appears ethanol free gasoline is going away, when is Shell going to at least give us that 93 they are getting out west?
Coop has also placed labels on regular and mid grade, however premium is still ethanol free
Shit. That must have just happened. I filled up on Sunday and have been purposely looking for new stickers. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I posted the "May contain 10%" stickers from the coop on 50th and 52nd SE on Nov 27th.

Got curious so I thought I'd ask Shell.
Apparently despite the stickers, V-Power is still 0% ethanol.
I don't know why people are getting so hung up on those stupid stickers. Could have stickers saying it may contain plutonium or virgin's blood, for all I care. Doesn't mean anything. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I read this if you are a privately owned station perhaps the fuel isn't always supplied by Shell so they can't actually verifyThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Part of the independent dealer agreement is that you have to source fuel from Shell exclusively. Of course there will always be a few shady ones out there who might still do it, but head office has pretty good controls in place to catch them quick and terminate their dealer agreementsThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. I would imagine it's more of a "When Scotford shuts down for maintenance, we need other sources, which may contain ethanol"

There are tons of people are trying to keep ethanol out of their engines and watch the contents religiously. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I understand that and agree with them. The stickers are just ambiguous non-sense, as useful as Proposition 65 labels. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Labels are just CYA. If damages occurred due to ethanol and it's labelled incorrectly, someone may come after station. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
