Every event that happens I only judge on whether or not it makes the USA more entertaining or less entertaining. There is an outside chance that the Trump ban will make his supporters go batshit crazy and rampage. But I think it is likely that we will just no longer have the opportunity to have Trump entertain us.

While the hypocrisy is wild (on both sides), an attack on the government is generally considered worse than attacks on commercial buildings.

There's not very many countries where an insurgency like this wouldn't result in hundreds of deaths by police/military, but regular riots are usually rubber bullets and water canons in the western world.

The DC police did sound very incompetent.

I've heard two takes on this:

1) The counting of electoral votes is one president and 9 Supreme Court judges short of a State of the Union address, the single most high-security event in Washington. The amount of Capitol Police (not DC Police who can't go onto Federal grounds until they are requested or invited) that was present was only a fraction of that. It was a woefully small enforcement presence considering that the top 3 parts of the US line of succession was in the building.

2) The occupation represents the single biggest cybersecurity threat to the United States government. You had hundreds, if not thousands, of people who had unfettered physical access to government computers. At one point, a reporter with Blaze tweeted a photo of Speaker Pelosi's unlocked computer screen showing a half-written email. There are also reports of missing laptops.

It's a little ironic the amount of Republicans that are refusing to accept Biden as president. Saying things like "even if he gets sworn in he will never be my president and I know of many who feel the same"

Except they aren't silencing anyone, really, I'm fairly certain Twitter and Facebook aren't in their constitution. Trump can still use every other form of media he likes. Just as a store has every right to refuse a customer (for non-bigotry reasons), a tech company can do the same.

Not according to Trumps executive orders they can't. That's the piece of this puzzle that is confusing right now. Those EO's were not put in place by accident, they were made for specific reasons. So I find it odd that they haven't been utilized yet while Trump still has the pull.

Pretty interesting timing for that hey? She literally said she was hoping they try to sue her for defamation months ago, so she can get better access to everything. Now that the fraud is officially complete and electoral college votes are counted, suddenly they come out with this defamation case.

Now that they have the affidavit from the guy in Italy who was actually pushing the vote switching buttons, it'll be interesting to see where this all goes. I'm guessing nowhere as Dominion probably got the word that Dems own the courts and won't allow this to ever see the light of day. Not that it even matters, AFAIK even if they were able to get a fair trial for any of this fraud and prove it all, I don't think there is any way to undo the Presidency now.
