Haha it’s expensive bro! Labor intensive and depending on car, hookups etc. Greg and Rainer at expressive did an awesome job on my car and I’m absolutely sold on ceramic coating haha it’s so dope.

    Any updates on this?

I've got a 2023 Tiguan coming late December. The dealer has offered Xpel for about $1200 for the hood, bumper and maybe side mirrors but not sure what else is on there.

Any other suggestions for someone who can do this?

Dealer installed is shit. Been there done that, it sucked. Was cheap film and installed poorly by the cheapest person they could sub the work out to.

I've since used Tint Tech for a couple vehicles since and the work has been top notch.

Precision Auto Films and Nano Defense have both been recommended on this forum. I have not used either although I'm working on choosing one.
I belive that all three shops can be negotiated with if a_) you mention beyond.ca or b) some reputable member (not me) or c) you are a good negotiator.
    This.

Brought the truck home from Nano Defense today. I had phone quotes from three shops, they were one of the cheapest, and I liked the way the dude answered my questions. I'm not a PPF expert, as this is my second purchase of this type of product and the last one was 8 years ago, but, I am so far satisfied with the look of the install.
Got full front, including fogs headlamps, grille, a pillars and above windshield, plus a stop below that body line on the side to protect the rockers.

NanoDefense is legit. I was satisfied. Some people like precision auto films, guy seemed nice on the phone.
@Pacman this is all I know on the topic. Call two places, get two quotes, then yo can negotiate with the dealer to get it cheaper, or go elsewhere to get it better. Good to have options.

Yes, I would vouch for Nano anytime. Jackie and group are great to work with.

Prices definitely vary. Labour intensive, bro deals, cash deals etc.

I've used Tintech before, I've also used Icon Tinting & Graphics as well as Shadow Tint. I'd take any one of them, any day, over the dealer, not only is the price usually between 1/2 to 2/3 of what the dealerships try to charge but the quality of work & materials is superior.

Yeah, I think we can all agree to never ever get your film done at a dealer.

It was $4500 for the full wrap. Stealth would have been a few hundred more.

Do you know if Refine offers a beyond discount? Their quoted price was quite a bit higher than others places suggested in the thread.

I think they may, or a volume discount as they offered me 15% discount iirc on my 4th xpel application (full front end/not entire car wrap.)

Refine is the best in the city for xpel imo when it comes to quality and after care.

    @rlim891

Sent you an email if you are still in the business. Need to get 2 vehicles done up and would be happy to throw the work your way!
