More people have boats around here than you'd guess. So I guess have to go survey chicks in bikinis next summer. For research. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
They got started selling swimwear for swim teams out of their basement... (Because it was extremely difficul to source) then one small location in an industrial area. It went from purely functional swimwear to carrying all the fashionable items as well. I didnt find the mens swimwear that different than anything else, (standard Billabong/Quicksilver etc) but apparently the ladies stuff was way better quality that was tougher to find. (but super expensive)This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

^ i was just coming to post this, the retail blood bath continues. Hopefully they liquidate all their fedoras and vests so i can continue to slay on the cheap for the next 40+ years.
Mill Street Brewpub is closing on 17th ave looks like it as of Nov 3rd.

Wonder if the AHS closures had anything to do with their decision.
Also heard a rumor that Smuggler's Inn will be closed for good (owner passed away?). The website for all the restaurants in that building seem to be down as well, so maybe some truth to it? Suck as I have a $200 gift card to use there.
Noooo... Not Smuggler's...
Must pay a visit before they do if it's for real...
They have been closed since March. They never reopened. Nothing to visit. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Even when they were opened, any location east of 4th st never had been kind to restaurants. Patio is nice during summer but food is mediocre so their takeout game is probably not strong. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

This was the thread I was looking for! Haha posted the Hifi thing in the actual Covid thread.
I’m pretty sad about it, I was there a lot over the years. Way too much probably. Chester was a usual suspect with me there too.

Cibo on 17th is no more
The French restaurant on 17th gave up their huge outdoor patio and looks like a building is being built there
Edo is opening on that street (yay)
