This is a good time of year to get your trees and shrubs really wet.

    Just completed aeration.

I've cut down watering as well. 10 min in all zones, twice a week. Nope that suffices.

I think I'll go a bit shorter on my next cut.

I watered on Saturday, probably need mowed again when I get home and that would be the last til next year...

Bare patches have new growth and the whole thing looks much thicker and lusher already and it's only been a month since aeration, overseed and fall fertilisation

It’s been hot lately, and needed the water for sure!

I've been hanging on as well with the warm temps, cut down watering as I mentioned above. But only mowing once a week, before it was twice. Probably mow it today after work, my hard stop will be next week because I've got binblasters coming out to clean out my bins once before winter.

I'm still watering every other day in hope that my overseeding will still sprout. No one else on my block is and they're lawns are all dormant now.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

@andyg16 lookin NICE. I'm coming up to 30 days after top dress and over seed, will do my first cut this week. Temps are getting cool, very nice weather for the lawn. Day time highs remain in the 20s (so nice after the 30+ days in the summer). I hope it continues on like this for most of October. Will hit it with some Nitrogen rich fert now as well.

I've been out here 7 years now and my brain is still not used to the idea of cutting lawn through October/November.

Still watering everyday but will likely cut that back to every other day, seems like the morning dew is doing a nice job of keepin g things moist.
Thanks man, the back yard looking just as good. I'll have to post some pictures of before and after, it was a shit show back there. Eventually had Bogdan come out and rip out everything (tree and bushes) from the yard and went town with seed, top soil and water. Turned out really good.

Had to cut my lawn this past weekend. I have barely been watering the front yard, just enough to water in the fertilizer and to keep it from being 100% crusty.... and I must of had to pick 40+ mushrooms from my lawn. WTF? Shit has been so dry yet I have mushrooms everywhere.

I thought it was too late to seed at end of september. Already seeing some pretty good growth with the hot/cold cycles and no frost.

Yeah I seeded 2-3 weeks back even though I thought it was too late but the weather has been great for it.

Stripped and regraded my entire front lawn in early September. Sod rooted quite nicely overall. I spread some fall fertilizer then watered it in on Wednesday and here it is 2 days later:

Now to figure out how to landscape it next year…

It's free for anyone to use. Just wait til he's gone to sleep, head through the back yard and help yourself.

At least that's what I used to do when I went to parties in Mckenzie as a kid.

The lawn has come back to life nicely with overseed and lots of water. This is the first cut after 1 month. I will throw down some fertilizer this weekend to get it deep green.
