MEC has ala carte cutlery as well but it’s grey for some weird reason.
Anyone with a lead on cheap cheap storage..? Looking at buying a Roo, but it won’t fit on our driveway
Anyone repainted their camper roof before, and can recommend what to use? We're potentially selling the ol' Qwest 8U, so figured i can spruce it up a bit with a fresh coat of paint
It's not normally "paint" on that roof, but a membrane. As for storage, I'm out at Canadream at crossiron, and they were running a promotion where you got pretty decent discounts if you paid full year up front. Really nice facility, has it's worn sani dump and wide angled spaces, so worth a call anyway.

What do you consider cheap cheap? I pay $50 a month, but he's out in De Winton, so only close if you are deep southThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
See Crank. See Crank Walk. Walk Crank Walk.
Anything under $70 counts as cheap IF it's a place that's well maintained. I won't store anywhere without 24h access too. Absolutely love having the sani-dump at my storage yard. Saves me time and significant hassle each and every trip. And after all, trailers are enough hassle already.

Also gravel lot as a requirement.
It's a private acreage, gated with cameras. I have 16 hour access, but that's pretty reasonable since they don't want trailers being moved around while they sleep or in the dark. Parking area is mowed every week, access is plowed in the winter, pull through or back in and trailers are kept on planks so they don't sink. Sani-dump would be cool, but I can just drive by Flying J on my way home or the way to storage and the cost of paying to dump is more than offset by the savings. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Parking on grass, that's a guarantee you'll get rodents. No thanks.

What are you veterans using for RV batteries?
I've been having terrible luck with Costco ones. Been using 2 Costco 6 volts wired together, and store them in heated garage in winter. 2 seasons in row now they won't hold a decent charge and have to be replaced. Costco great warranty doesn't apply to their 6 volts, they only have 12 months prorated.
I've heard 6 volts better for RV application, is this true?
Do I need to buy more expensive brand to get better longevity? How long should good batteries last if stored/used properly?
Where's best place to buy good quality batteries?
Any pro tips greatly appreciated!

Are you keeping them off the cold ground and on a battery maintainer? Making sure they are filled up with properly distilled water? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There is only a few battery manufacturers out there so aside from the top end battery’s it’s all the same stuff. I know a lot of people who have had the Costco batteries 4+ years.

Your tears fuel me
I store them in cabinet, on a piece of plywood. Temp should not be issue. I don't keep them on battery minder. Is this required to keep them good? I will check the fluid in them. Thanks for that suggestion.
What type of battery do you use, from what store?
