F1 tv pro for me then. Pretty sure I read that they won’t show the first practice sessions. I was excited to see them, guess they don’t want to show off failures.
Not only will they not show it live but they're not allowing spectators in to see. Sucks as I would have enjoyed going to Barcelona to watch it.

Given they're new cars and the reduced amount of testing teams are allowed to do, I think it's fair that they have a closed-door session but I also suspect Bahranian $$$$ has something to do with it.

On a personal note, I've started looking into flights for Imola...

While i realize the ability to see anything of REAL value is moot, this is still pretty funny. Should Merc put out a bunch of "bogey" stuff for RB to ponder? lol

This isn’t the first time rbr did this, if I remember right they won a mclaren tour before too. It’s kinda funny, and always good when it’s for charity.

Apparently, Mercedes learned from the Mclaren incident and has a clause that says "other team employees are not eligible to participate in this trip" so Horner won't be visiting anytime soon.

The mclaren one was funny, I think they brought newey along, who knew the mtc layout and he tried to go into all the classified areas haha.

Booked a OW flight to Bologna and reserved a hostel for the race weekend but won't plan anything else until they release tickets!

Italy has a "Super Green Pass" to get anywhere right now so who knows if they'll loosen up in 2.5 months or not....

^ I watched the Red Bull launch. Outside of Oracle becoming a title sponsor it was just a bunch of boring Q&A with all of the expected questions and answers that added zero information for anyone who follows the sport.

I'm most interested in how different their actual car will look from the one they presented given I'm sure they're not going to show any major updates this early.

Any suggestions on how me and some friends could do an f1 pool for the upcoming season?

I read something saying that Red Bull just put its livery on the F1 2022 Model Car.... so legit nothing to see here

Car reveal was more of a sponsor reveal.

Aston Martin reveal was even worse. Lawrence looked like he'd had a few drinks before reading his script off the teleprompter.

Best things I've seen so far is this Engineer's Aero Review of the Haas:

The haas was just render , at least red bull showed an actual car lol

The use of show cars aka red bull has been around for a long time … a lot of teams used to do this as it kept innovations secret for as long as possible

And AM was the actual car that they will test with …

Most teams will use the FIA 2022 car with their 2022 livery as most teams purchased a bunch of chassis from FIA or the one that supplied the FIA. I don't think you'll see full 2022 cars at the first closed test. I bet there will be some things held back from that first test as teams don't want to give anything away, even though it could take months to copy and integrate.

I agree. Still not a fan of the wheel covers though.
