Easily one of my top 3 MCU movies.
First 30min felt rushed and transition was not smooth but 2nd and 3rd act was awesome, didnt even feel like a 3hour movie at all.
So many one line jokes on this one for all sorts of nerds.

    Spoiler:
what did everyone think of the hammering sound at the post credit? most logical seems to be the sound clip of Tony Stark building the first Iron Man

I'm usually quite critical of Marvel movies, but that was really really good.

    Spoiler:
It is and it is a tribute to the character. Nothing more.

Really enjoyed it. Perfect pacing and never felt like a 3 hour movie.

Was waiting for an epic "Avengers assemble" battle cry but came out like a limp noodle whisper.

Holy fuck, that was amazing. 10/10 for me.

Could relate to Thor and thought they did an incredible job developing and closing everyone's characters.

That phrase is pure fan service. Sounds so out of time.

I could watch the splash page moment a million more times and be pretty happy about it.

I took my kids to watch endgame last weekend and now they want it on Apple TV. Explained to them it’ll come out before Christmas so be patient. They go to my moms house and sure enough it’s on their Chinese TV box with a shitty cam version.

Finally watched it. You guys were right about one thing, didn't feel like a 3 hour movie. It was good, definitely better than your typical Marvel 2 hour CGI shitshow. Didn't find it to be amazerballs like everyone is saying, but maybe it's NYE syndrome? Everyone hyped the shit out of it so bad that it had pretty big shoes to fill before I even got to the theater.

If anyone still wants to see it I just learned Landmark cinema has cheap morning movies. Sunday 11am showings are 9$ or 11$ for 3D which is a nice little savings if you don't wanna go for the costco packs

Only downside is they get filled up pretty fast, use atom to pre-purchase ahead of time. Worst case you can refund your ticket if you change your mind or something comes up.

Well it’s official. Endgame passes Avatar for top spot all time. Pretty crazy that all 4 avengers own a spot in the top 10, and 7 of the top 10 (including Avatar) belongs to Disney.

Meh, still doesn't beat it adjusted to inflation. Starwars, and Gone with the Wind still beat it too.

On another note, because it was so big, my father-in-law went to see it this week... He's never watched any other Marvel films. Needless to say, he was confused and didn't enjoy it.

I don’t think anything would beat those movies in modern times with such short home release and streaming windows. Gone with the wind was before TVs so the only way to watch it was in theaters, and ran for decades.

Inflation metric is starting to lose its meaning too as entertainment options has increases 10 folds since then and theater released movies are not capturing all the eyeballs any more.

If the measurement is still "box office" numbers though, then it still counts. I've never liked that number anyways, the metric should be # of tickets sold.
