    Default Ebay buyers cancelling order.

I've had two different items now where the buyer wins the auction then has buyers remorse and attempts to cancel the deal.
Does this happen more and more now??
    Cancel culture in EBay now?

Never had issues before and now all the time.
Apparently if you send the item you're likely to get a negative review form buyer so everyone's saying just cancel and the buyer is always right.
Any other sites that are better than eBay now??

I didn’t think eBay even had auctions any more. Everything I’ve seen the last 10 years were just store fronts.

They do. I won a hot wheels car for my son. He was pumped to be high bidder.

Is there a way to filter all of the stores and businesses out so I'm only looking at normal people selling things in an auction?

What are you selling? Anything that might be considered in high demand and that you might be considered a scalper?

Why wouldn't it? I get a lot of good used gear from the ERA storefront for crazy good costs.

You then get to give them a negative review too though, no?

I just haven't even thought about it for years, nor have I heard anyone really talk about it. Honestly forgot about it lol

ebay sucks for selling... buyers have all the protection and ebay/payal takes a 13% cut off the top.

Get onto facebook groups for whatever items your selling. Comparable prices and way more seller protection.

Negative for a buyer is no longer an option. It’s a buyers world on eBay they can do no wrong! It’s fucked!

ebay is only really good for sellers who have something unique to sell - where a local selling price can be a fraction of what someone would pay for it in the states for eg. arbitrage. Art, antiques, etc.

There are people who collect, EVERYTHING you can imagine - I know a person who fancies old staplers, and will pay top dollar for something from the 1960s for eg.

This. I stopped using ebay ages ago for this exact reason. Not only are their fees way too high for anything other than very rare/unique items that require a global audience to sell, but all the buyer has to do is say the item never arrived, seller loses everything, buyer gets a refund plus a free item, zero investigation is conducted. I have read stories of people FPV video recording themselves packing the item and bringing it to the post office and ebay still sided with the buyer.

Decent demand but definitely not a scalper. I'm not holding a gun to anyone's head to put in the bid.
