Just noticed that the price of silver plummeted in first chunk of March. That seems odd. Why?
Shouldn't it mildly track other precious metals?

If you look at most of the precious metals charts they all look very very similar for the month of March. Percentage wise they are tracking similarly.

Relative to the CAD it's up, but compared to some others it's not.

Fair point... anyone watch "The Hidden Secrets of Money" by Mike Maloney? Pretty interesting. In episode 7 (2016) he pretty much called exactly what is going on today down to government buying equities/credit bubble/unlimited QE etc etc.

What I recall seeing was gold making a rather sharp jump while Silver took a significant dip.

Middle of March they both dipped, silver hasn't fully recovered but gold has definitely gone higher than before the dip. Over the last 10 years though silver has come down significantly. Cheaper materials in manufacturing that do a similar job?
