    STAR interview for her, then!
That's one Hell of a "curb".
I have a feeling she didn't tell me about the part where she drove it over it at high speed.

And that it was a median.

And that there were things on the median.

Well, the star* examination should reveal all.

Which is why I laugh whenever I see for sale ads for cars that say "lady driven", like that's a good thing.

Not a SUV but since people mentioned vans, why not the Pacifica?

From the video is looks quite luxurious.

I think I've told this story before, but going back a few years, we were convinced we'd the point where we had to bite the bullet and get a minivan. At the time, the then-new Pacifica was far and away the best option. Wife and I did a test drive and all seemed well, but an upcoming 3 week trip to cottage country seemed like the perfect chance to rent one and "live with it". When we got tot the rental car place, we ran into a problem... Stuff. Would. Not. Fit. The solution was the at the time old-school Expedition L, which swallowed all of our gear and everyone had plenty of room inside...

I'll say it again - if you actually need to utilize the seating capacity, there are very few options to also carry the "stuff" of 6 or 7 people.

CEL came on in the Santa Fe.

    Guess I jinxed myself.

Took it in today. EVAP canister is broken.

Wife drove over a curb a few days ago.
My wife drove over a "curb" as well recently.
Now we have dents on both c pillars of the MDX from the force.

Am I think only person who's wife hasn't had a suspicious curb incident?
Love our Odyssey, perfect for 4 people plus gear, Agree it's not what you'd want for 7 plus gear, but that's pretty unusual.

Does mysterious curbing of both sets of alloy wheels count?
We have an Odyssey as well. So comfy compared to my base model Fit. We have 3 boys (and had a dog). Was picking "on specs" between the Odyssey and the Atlas. Wanted the Atlas for the 4WD, but the sliding door and the then new Odyssey design won. Looked into the Sienna 4WD as well, but the interior looked a bit dated for the 2018 model.

You should see the all new 2021 model, especially the infotainment system.

Nobody buys a Sienna for the interior. I’m glad I won’t be driving it at all.

I’ve rented the Pacifica twice on vacation now. It’s probably the only minivan I don’t mind actually driving.

If I had to take 7 people plus gear, I’d take 2 cars haha. That’s such a rare occurrence. DD'ing a minivan is already a PITA, I can't imagine DD'ing a fucking Expedition LWB.

I've had a minivan 9 years and have never even wanted to take 7 people in it, let alone 7 people plus stuff. Has never once been required.
I think we did 6 once to Calaway park. Once, in 9 years.

Funny, but with the large # of kids in extended family, we actually take 7 people fairly regularly in our E Wagon. But yea, the majority use case for 7 passenger vehicles is to separate the kids to stop the bitching.

Yes, just started going through this now with my kids... (10, 6, and 3 year olds) need to place them at the extreme corners.

That's because you don't routinely have 6 people to accommodate I would assume.

Chrysler vans are pretty guaranteed to have transmission failure.
