Did end up trying to drive the Jaguar Saturday morning for a rare weekend shift. (Retail) Ended up turning around and taking my wife's Mazda5 when the main roads were no better. Her vehicle has winters and even it was struggling. To be fair, once I arrived at work it was treacherous to even stand in the parking lot so the Jag did well, all things considered...

Not really pleased with the service from TRS Auto so far. They've had my Rover for nearly a week without touching it, even though it only needs 2 hours of work. I'm certainly not used to road conditions being a concern, and I'd Iike it back now.

Thanks for reading episode 2. I hope it was as compelling a story as my first entry.

I thought my house was going to blow down at about midnight. Had to go out this AM to make sure we didn't have any damage. We have friends in Millarville that had a bunch of huge spruce trees blow over and just barely miss their house. Its carnage.

driving a truck camper home from there... Currently looks like i have to drive through the states there, and then hope i dont get turned around for trying to 'return to my principal residence' by taking 99 out. Biden is apparently having an announcement tomorrow about the testing requirements so that may blow up any quick trips through the states
