    sorry to bump this old thread, but anyone know of any places that rent out obd ii code readers in edmonton? there doesn't seem to be an auto value parts store here.

    Go to any place that deals with car parts like Parts Source or Mopac..even try canadian tire. They don't exactly rent out the code reader to you, you have to bring your car there and they do it in the parking lot or w/e for you.

    part source will nto do it, theyll tell you to go to canadian tire, who will charge you at least 1/2 hour shop rate to do it because they're chincy bastards.

    Princess auto has readers for ~$60 IIRC
