    Default Cover Songs

Just curious what everyones favorite cover songs are. My top few are:

Hurt - NIN, cover by Johnny Cash
Like a Virgin - Madonna, cover by Marilyn Manson
You Were Always on my Mind - Elvis Presley, cover by Petshop Boys
Drift Away - Cover by Uncle Kracker. I can't remember the orignal singer.
Tainted Love - Cover by Marilyn Manson

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

The Ataris cover of "Boys Of Summer" is probably the best cove I've heard.

thats all i can really think of right now.
Evergreen Terrace's "Writer's Block" CD has tons of good covers.

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes has some great covers obviously.

Grade did an amazing cover of "Panama" by Van Halen

Good Riddance' s cover of The Kinks "Come Dancing"

Underoath's cover of The Police's "Wrapped around your finger" is great too.

I like to think Dylan was just keeping Watchtower warm until Hendrix came along.

Also, does Ferry Corsten's remix of Barber's Adagio for Strings count?
