Default Anyone else get there stuff stolen from the U of C locker room?

Did anyone see anybody with bolt cutters in the guys locker room? There were three cut locks on the ground by the day lockers at about 4 this afternoon. And by the way to the f***head who broke into them, I hope you get AIDS asshole.

This happened all the time when I was at the U. Campus security there is a joke. Stuff used too (and still by the sounds of it) get jacked constantly.

I used my locker in science A for more valuable stuff. Or when I didn't have a locker I would get the people behind the sign in / towel counter by the locker rooms to hold my stuff.

Thats pretty crazy man.. You really gotta be careful what you keep in your locker I guess. I normally leave my ipod and stuff in there, cause It always seems like a pretty busy, safe place.

Its not just he U of C, the MRC gym has the same damn problem. Happens almost everyday at about the same time or later.

One time my buddy got his shit jacked, and addition to three other lockers. They always target the lockers near the back where its isolated. Lost wallet, cell phone, mp3, CAR KEYS and anything worth stealing got stolen. LUCKILY he had a locker upstairs on campus where he put his laptop. The same shit were missing from the other two lockers as well.

I went out and bought one of those locks with a metal plate on it, the uncut able kind, and always used the lockers near the front. Its honestly NOT hard to sneak a bolt cutter in a big gym bag and i wouldn't doubt that its the same fucking scum bags doing this at the U and MRC.

^well visa and RBC are on the lookout for any transactions being made. Plus, anyone know if my university ID is good for a driver's liscense renewal? Thanks.

No i think your gonna have to take either your passport to a registry or birth certificate. I think they require government id.

+1 I was just at the registries... even coming back with my passport they still wanted one other piece of ID bullshit... they might as well tell me no because I'm not wearing black shoes...

Maybe this guy can use a small bolt cutter because he worked out before going to do some cutting.

Just kidding, but yea, I usually leave my watch/wallet/phone in my glove box locked, rather than in one of the gym lockers.

I've never had problems there, yet...
But honestly, I usually will leave my watch/wallet/phone/coat etc in my car or, hell, they're safer in my Engg locker than in the locker rooms.

I've always been a little nervous about them...i see so many fucking lockers with that little ring part (where your lock goes) that are cut.

Did you know someone there, or are you just trusting enough to let them hang onto your shit?
