    Why is the AP1 > AP2??
I don't like the new seats? They should've left the cutout with mesh.

AP2 has a 2.2L engine vs AP1's 2L. It has more useable torque but redline dropped, so to hardcore S2K owners, it's not as racy. But it's a much better daily driver than AP1.

Still, $10K more would have get you a SLK350 with a hardtop. If I'm buy new, that's where my money would go. In my head, S2K worth $45K max, not close to $55K.

As for the new Accord butt, it's nicer and costed Honda $25M of design and retooling for it to happen. That segment is just too competitive to remain ugly, especially completely new Altima and Camry is just less than a year away.

EDIT: Sorry, just checked and S2K is only $50K MSRP, the $55K in head is fed by Crawfoot Honda's sticker price in the showroom. Talk about gouging.

SLK's used to be chick cars, but the new restyle and the AMG package are fantastic.

Wish they'd of put real leather seats in the RSX. Those look so plushy in the Accord!

    Nothing wrong with new SLK.

$64K to start, $74K for a fully loaded AMG with all options.

    ^^^

Awesome color! It's quite the darker shade compared to Silverstone.

BTW, still no word from Honda dealers on the 06, getting impatient hehe

Not to be a hater, cause I do like the S2000 but doesn't 237 horsepower @ 7800 rpm and 162 lb-ft. of torque at 6800 rpm seem a little weak. In particular the torque seems low.

You're not buying that kind of car for the power though. I'm sure it's still a blast to drive.

Honda really needs to step it up. The cars still look very similar to the old ones. In addition to adding colours they should try to make some design changes...

I think the back end of the Accord sedan looks a lot better now... S2K doesn't really look a whole lot different though...
