    I dunno man. I like ITR's but doesn't the LS turbo'd fair better than a b18c5 turbo'd?

Don't mean to rag on your car dude, it's just the LS has more displacement.

    no it doesnt.

some ppl prefer using the ls block cuz its lower compression and certain internals are stronger.

anyway, a b18c would make more power than a b18b under the same amount of boost cuz of the vtec

Were hoping to make 300whp so we'll see what happens. But besides that the B18C5 turbo will make more power than the B18 turbo same displacement but two totally different heads and higher compression on the B18C5.

And what have you done to the compression of the b18c5? Thicker head gasket? Keeping it stock!! haha, just curious man!

ls/vtec-crx: Check your PM's for me please.

The B18b does have a slightly higher displacement but the difference is soooooo small that it is negligible.

Nelson says that he can tune a stock type-r to 330 WHP...it is a very strong bottom end tougher to tune cause of the compression...less room for mistakes. I had that exact head gasket on my old civic...made me bullet proof.
